It was by sheer and utter coincidence I decided to revisit my old fanfic.net account and update the old email attached to it. It's also by sheer happenstance I noticed an update by your fanfic account from just a few days ago, littered among the literal *thousands* of emails that had been sitting in my old account after *years* of me abandoning it.

I think it's phenomenal that you still clearly so much about this series and this pairing. I think it's phenomenal that when I'm feeling sad and out of sync with fandom, when I'm feeling nostalgic and missing all my old fics and authors, when I feel detached from a lot of the things I once loved-- I see an update regarding this fic. (This was one of the very few Hades/Persephone stories I was able to find in the past--regarding both fic and original works! And while I'll admit it's been a bit since I've re-read this fic, I remember really loving it when I first read it!)

It's an absolute delight to see my old fan favorites stirring again! Keep on truckin'! You're fabulous!

(Sorry for the delay in responding to this! Literally two days before you posted it, I came down with a HORRIBLE case of shingles on my right arm and hand. The neuropathy from that has debiliated me for three months, and I still have numbness & tingling in my ring and pink fingers on that hand. I literally have not been able to type properly until about two weeks ago, and I've been slowly catching up on correspondence. So... here I am, finally!)

Anyway, that's a pretty amazing coincidence, and I'm glad it happened! :D

Oh yes indeed, I adore Hades & Persephone. Not just the version in this fic universe, but the real deities (that Hades is QUITE different and I did my damnedest to overlap Disney & mythology for the fic).

I was waylaid more than anticipated in picking this universe up and running with it again. Life does shit I can't avoid, but I will never totally abandon these stories. I WILL tell them, because I truly HAVE to. Honestly, it feels like a mission, one that I'm happy to accept. Not sure if all will be done in this calendar year (thanks ever so much, annoying virus that chose to attack me), but I have begun the work and it will be finished! :D
