Final illustrations with their original titles. Generally, I really like the look of the finished pencil sketches I originally did, but everyone on earth prefers artwork in color so I did a huge amount of work to colorize them. I'm not displeased, but I'm definitely not invested redoing every single picture in digital.

Bonus artwork -- rough sketches, concept art & some nearly-finished illustrations that didn't make the final cut.

I sketched out anything that caught my fancy when I was first doing artwork for the story, most of which I've included below. Some stuff is pretty shitty, lol, because I used whatever scraps of paper and leaky ballpoint pens were available at the time inspiration struck (usually at work).

There are a few super old pics done in marker and colored pencil, which I kind of hate but wanted to show anyway. Only a very few have been completely redone in digital to show the character designs more clearly (and eventually I WILL have a full page of nothing but characters, probably with bios).

You can pretty cleary see the changes made in character design between original concept in 1998 and the final products above. The biggest change was Persephone -- I simplified her costume and toned down the poofy hair.
